FUNKY MEDICS was formed to develop, produce and deliver ‘Carry on Cholesterol’  - a DVD, commissioned and distributed through Heart UK, on Familial Hypercholesterolaemia (FH) – Inherited High Cholesterol.

Our ethos is to entertain - engage -  educate - empower. 

We use the collaborative talents of international experts from the worlds of medicine and media to explore the ways in which conditions, both lifestyle and genetic, can be approached, explained, managed or prevented. 

The concept is innovative use of comedy, music and drama in live action, as well as 2 and 3D animation. The multi platform delivery is on a global landscape and includes short animated film, feature film, mobile phone, internet streaming, comic strip and print.

Our passion is in the belief that no-one should suffer through a lack of knowledge and understanding.
